We kick-start our the Great Penang Food Hunt today with a talk from Tan Sri Francis Yeoh and also CEO of YTL Communications, Wing K Lee. Each of us is given a YES Huddle to test YES 4G. Stay tuned with my blog for more information about the YES 4G Great Penang Food Hunt.
YTL’s YES 4G the Great Penang Food Hunt campaign.
I saw this campaign on March 5th 2011. I thought why not give it a try since I love Penang food so much. Then, procrastination took over me and until the last day of submission that I emailed them my application.
YES 4G in Penang
Yeah! It’s finally here. Last few weeks, I was thinking on how to save my telecommunication bills and how to have mobile internet on the go.
My current spending on broadband:
P1 Wimax 1.2MB package: RM99/month. (for my home)
TM Stremyx 1.0MB package: RM68/month. (for my business)
DiGi Internet Lite 300MB package: RM33/month. (for my girlfriend’s iPhone 3GS)
That’s a total of RM200 spent on broadband alone. And I don’t even earn that much every month from the Internet. 🙁
Well, some of you might not be aware of this. Motorola Xoom is officially launched in US on February 24 2011. I wonder when will Motorola Xoom come to Malaysia?
Now the tablet competition is getting more serious as Motorola Xoom has proven to be a real competitor to iPad and review made by Engadget says that Motorola Xoom outclasses iPad in some areas. I don’t have a hands-on unit of Motorola Xoom, so, I think I should just trust Engadget for their remarks.
The aftermath of YTL’s YES 4G Official Launching.
There has been a mixed reactions from various groups of people. Some said YES to YES, some said NO to YES. Hell, some even created a Facebook fan page to say NO to YES.
So, after all the hoo-hahs and hype, it’s time to sit back and digest all the facts that have been given.
