This is the next major announcement from Nikon after its successful Nikon D7000. After Nikon has been silent for the whole 2011 except the Bangkok flood that wrecked havoc for its production line, Nikon D4 is finally out.

With US$5,999, that’s equivalent to nearly RM19,000 using today’s rate. That’s so crazy for amateur photographer like me. You can nearly buy a second hand Kancil car with that kind of $$$. But for professional photographers with thousands-dollar worth of projects, this is a great investment.
Here’s an unofficial price of Nikon D4 in Malaysia. You don’t have to pay nearly RM19,000. The Nikon D4 price is RM16,888. Yeah, that’s cheaper by RM2,000++ from the converted price. Nikon D4 will be available in February 2012.
