iPhone 5 Will Be Launched in US on 12th September 2012 & List of Live Blogs!!!
Here is one of the photos in the invite that Apple sent to media for its upcoming event. And it is so obvious. iPhone 5 will be launched soon!!! 12th September 2012. 1 more day to be exact. Finally, it’s confirmed. No more rumor mills about the launch date. For a summary of iPhone 5 rumors, do click here.
The iPhone 5 event will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco at 10am next Wednesday (12th September 2012). Here are the time of the event for other time zones. The event time for Malaysia & Singapore time zone is 1:00am 13th September 2012. Time to be a zombie the day after the event. π
I wonder will the upcoming iPhone 5 event will be a hit and better or the same par with Google I/O 2012? Google I/O 2012 wows a lot of people especially the Google Glass introduction. It was so awesome!!! π It created a buzz in the blogosphere and twitterverse. Β First time that I am so excited watching the Google I/O.
I have a few friends of my who have defected to the Android camp after using iPhone for a period of time. They said that iPhone has lost its cool. Indeed, Apple needs to breathe in new or innovative features to the iPhone or it will lose more of its market share to Android phones. Samsung is catching up very quickly.
Windows are gearing up its Windows Phone 8 phones and Nokia has just launched its Lumia 920 and Samsung has just unveiled its ‘phablet’, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which I personally feels very attractive and I am tempted to buy it. So, will iPhone 5 still retain its appeal?
Since Apple has not been live streaming their events in these recent years, many of use have to rely on the audience that are sitting in the hall doing live blogging. It’s definitely not as fun as watching the live streaming. Still, what can we do? Let’s enjoy.
Here are the list of blogs and websites that will be live blogging on the upcoming Apple iPhone 5 event:

Oh ya, another thing, iOS 6 might be launched on the same day of iPhone 5. Let’s hope to see more cretive and innovate features in iOS 6 and less copying from Android. Android’s Jellybean update showcases some of new innovate features that managed to wow some hardcore tech heads.
And iPhone 5 is rumored to be shipped on 21st September 2012 (Friday) and will be available for pre-order on the launch day itself. I have a strong feeling that Japan and Singapore will be in the list of first group of countries that will have iPhone 5. Why…… Is Malaysia market too small? Come on, our country size is way way bigger than Singapore!!! This delay is an opportunity for scalpers to upsell iPhone 5 to those who are able to afford it and can’t wait for it to launch. johnkhor.com will definitely not be able to afford that and will have to wait for it to launch in Malaysia first.
Based on previous iPhone launches in Malaysia, I am predicting that iPhone 5 will reach Malaysia somewhere late November, early December and worst come to worst middle of December. The price of iPhone will be the same as iPhone 4S which is somewhere around RM2,290. These are my predictions and please take them with a pinch of salt.
Well, since the wait is almost finish, will you buy iPhone 5?
Malaysia time zone should be 13th September 2012 at 1:00 a.m
Is not 11th
^^
Sorry. My mind wasn’t clear the night I was typing this blog. Thanks for the correction. Appreciate that. π
wooahhhhhhh, most awaiting π
can’t wait to see what the new iphone has installed for all of us π
I got to agree that i like the fact that Samsung has got 3 buttons at the bottom while iphone only has one main button..
might be a good idea to see the user review 1st before buy
Yup. Definitely. I want to see live comparisons between iPhone 5 and Galaxy Note II. π
