Review: Hydro Hotel Batu Ferringhi, Penang Part I: Hotel Rooms
Yup, I was invited to review Hydro Hotel located at Batu Ferringhi, Penang.
It has been a while that I have been to Batu Ferringhi. Beautiful beaches and sunrises and sunsets.
And there’s even a party for the Ferrari Owners Club.
Red carpet for Ferrari Owners. Hope to have a chance to have a red carpet.
At first, we were invited to review the hotel rooms in Hotel Hydro.
Private reception desk area.
Aromatherapy in washroom. I am quite impressed. The hotel used a very strong aroma which is very refreshing especially when you are in a washroom. Kudos.
Very special display of plants decorations.
The porter invited us to check out the rooms.
I must say that the rooms are very beautifu, nicely decorated and very inviting. I am feeling rather sleepy and relaxed already. Check out the rooms. The first room is Executive Deluxe room.
I want to sleep on the bed and relax while enjoying the seaview.
Another view of the Executive Deluxe room.
View of Andanam Sea from the Executive Deluxe room of Hydro Hotel.
After that, I were invited to review the VIP Studio Suite at the same floor (11th floor).
View from VIP Studio Suite of Hydro Hotel.
Certainly looked better than the normal Executive Deluxe Room.
They even have a private office for you to use in VIP Studio Suite.
You can also relax with your families or friends here.
Inside of the washroom. Looked cool and clean.
You can relax there, quitely reading your favorite book and sipping your favorite drink while enjoying the seaview. Cool right?
View from the Balcony of VIP Studio Suite.
They have 2 balconies in VIP Studio Suite.
Very relaxing view from the balcony of VIP Studio Suite.
Sunset view from balcony of VIP Studio Suite.
Too bad the sun set too fast because many other photographers were taking pictures at it. I missed my chance. Never mind. At least, we can still enjoy the clouds. 🙂
Overall, the rooms are modern looking, clean and managed to look aesthetic despite being a very old hotel. Roughly 30 years++, if I am not mistaken. Hydro Hotel recently took over the existing hotel and renovated the whole hotel. That’s why it looked very new and cool.
All rooms have balcony facing the sea. I didn’t get to spend a night there, so there’s not much to review about the facilities, staff service and so on. Maybe next time.
If you enjoy a rather quiet and relaxed mood, Hydro Hotel is a good choice as there’s no other entertainment outlets around the hotel. The Batu Ferringhi night market and more happening areas of Batu Ferringhi is 10 minutes drive away.
After the review, my stomach starts to growl already. It’s dinner time! Wait for my next post about Hydro Hotel’s dinner buffet.
Running for my dinner buffet. That’s why shaky. Haha. Just joking.
